My big fat BIG dream

My big fat BIG dream

I have always been cautious about my fitness and what I eat. I always try to eat right and gym often – especially as I play competitive football every weekend and need to be in top my shape at all times. Being a health and fit it helps you to perform well in the match, I strive to be tighter, stronger, fitter and creative as the middle fielder, but I have not yet dedicated time and effort to have that fabulous body as I.

My big fat BIG dream is to never be BIG or FAT as I truly believe that there is no reason for looking like that. Food is good I know, promise you, but food is there to sustain our bodies and provide us with energy to live. Just as eating is essential, exercise and good health is essential as well!

My biggest influence and soccer player is Lionel Messi he players football like magnate. This young boy will be a world star for the next 5 decades.  The fitness, healthy eating and good lifestyles are very important.  As result I made up mined to do masters in sport management to compliment with Public relations degree. Eventually want to own my sport company.

KHAYELITSHA DISTRICT HOSPITAL TO OPEN SOON

Last Sunday afternoon around 17:30pm I was driving through Khayelitsha with my son and I saw the development of Khayelistha Hospital, which looked to in its final stages of construction and finishing. I have been reading about the Hospital on the media, it was a first to have a glimpse of it.  I was very delight for people of Khayelistha in the next few month, they will not have to travel very far to get health care. According to the Provincial Government of the Western Cape, It will provide access to quality healthcare straight to the community of Khayelitsha servicing the approximately 500 000 people in the area. The 230-bed medical facility will provide support to the surrounding primary healthcare facilities to ensure that patients receive care at the lowest level of entry into the healthcare system. Patients who require more advanced levels of care will be referred to Tygerberg Hospital.

Services that will be available include:
·         Inpatient services including Surgery, Medicine, Paediatrics and Obstetrics
·         a referral outpatient service which includes a medical day ward (predominantly for ARV referrals)
·         a large accident-and-emergency unit (it is 30% larger than that of a standard district hospital trauma unit, to cater for the high incidence of trauma and homicide in the area)
·         a large maternity ward (it is 30% larger than that of a standard district-hospital maternity ward, to cater for the high population growth and birth rate in the area). The Obstetrics unit also includes a nursery and kangaroo mother care facility.
·         an EMS/ambulance station with heliport that will serve as the divisional headquarters of the Khayelitsha subdistrict and the Helderberg basin. The hospital will be served by a compliment of more than 500 staff members – this includes medical and non-medical staff as well as staff from soft services tenders (i.e. Catering, Landscaping and Cleaning). Currently there are 240 staff members on the hospital’s establishment and the recruitment and the filling of posts is on-going. I want to take this opportunity to congratulate people of khayelitsha and leader government of DA. As the card caring member of the ANC want to say them bravo and keep it up a good work in the Western Province.

Conventional is a good fallback position isn’t it?

It has been said that, I often use, listen to other people’s conversation in order to go with a flow. But I find not true to make those silly allegations and sometime interesting and important – especially to your peers, like classmate and colleagues.
As we approaching the end of the year, we find ourselves almost there for the 2011 and nearer to 2012 to look for new hope and new resolution for our future especially for our studying Public Relations Management. Most of us eager and getting ready to relax for next year and come back to complete our final year of the B-Tech. The lure will be however to finish the course and look better of work, which will pay you well.
It a feeling I have. Conventional is a good fallback position but it is neither worthy waiting for being professional. We will need more than likely to be expected to fall back into the conventional ship. Let’s face the reality!
Image our peers, what would be think about us as their colleagues and friends would they see our attitude rather being different before it. However being, creative and innovative – focused on this same issues?

You cannot chase two rabbits in the same time.

If you chase two rabbits, both will escape and you will not get them unless you come up with great strategy to catch them. Well times have change and the 21st century woman can definitely chase more than one rabbit at a time. The simplest example is that of being a single, working mother and excels at work and earn a living good living for yourself and kids without depending on the man. You feed them, educate and develop your child, after them after work.
While working to earn extra money to pay off, while working out to get back in tip-top beach-worthy two-piece bodies, and while giving attention to friends, family and of course our baby.
These are all little rabbits running all over the place, and if you don’t use skill them, they will all get away. Now I am not talking about running, diving or aiming skills. I’m talking about staying focused, multi-tasking play the role of man and other side the role of wife in the house simultaneously.

Nothing is more dangerous than an idea, when you only have one idea.

On Saturday night I was watching the move on ETV channel until middle night, I watched alone as everyone was fast asleep, there were dangerous and ugly animals, such crocodile, snakes, elephant, tiger and tortoise.

Apart from it being one of the most afraid person on the night things, I saw things, I’ve last seen few for years ago, it blew me away at how many of them only had one harmless character or appearance and I was in the a position where they would either make it or break it. I decided to go to sleep as I was getting more afraid with seeing those animals, I could not sleep for the entire night.

I was awake the whole night thinking about, what I saw in the Television. However I agree with topic given upon nothing is dangerous than an idea, I mean I simple saw the image on TV, I did not see them face to face and I was still afraid and I could not sleep up until early hours of the morning. When I had a sleepless night I dare not allow the thought to go over my head.

Food aid stolen in Somalia

Its disappointing and hurting to hear that people are stealing food meant masses of people who are dying of hunger in Somalia. It has been reported widly that people stolen food aid for millions of whom are starving for their lifes.  According media reports Somila government are intending to fire those government officials who are cruel.

I sincerely hope they will be fine on the spot without given any notice prior. You ask yourself where was there security force from government as we all know the situation in Magadishu. There were reports that people were fight for food distribution and there were killings took place prior this stearling of food.

I mean each day South Africans sends tons of food aid in Mogadishu supporting thier africns brothers. I'm reality sad to hear this horrible accident. My own department took tons food aid to Gift of  the Givers yesterday to their distribution warehouse in Athlone. I'm calling upon the Somalian government to deploy more securities 24/7 if they want continues support from other countries as well. They is no use of sending food aid and yet no one takes care of it.

Have you figured out the second head fake?

Have you figured out the second head fake?

I once listen read a book that talked about the figured out the second head fake. According this book it was annual lecture of one of the icon in the world, but the author did not mention his/her name.
It comes from the last lecturer given by who the icon had died of cancer a disease which is taking thousands of lives each year.

His lecture or message is about living your life with good values and morals have sense of integrity and sort of just live by the guidelines for your holy book.
This is probably a silly example of a head fake but simple things such as you only visit people after supper and lunch unless invite, as that is their family time and also never just take things ask if you can have, gaining that sense of respect- just knowing right from wrong.

Also live your life correctly to get to achieve your dreams, this way your dreams will be worth so much more when achieved.
It is amazing how different your outlook on life is when knowing it is come to an end, you have those profound thoughts and those little moments which you tend to overlook sometimes.
