Animal vs Rights

The Animal rights activists objected to the slaughter on the grounds that the practice constituted the cruelty to animals. It emanated from former chief whip of the ANC Tony Yengeni's slaughtering for ritual cleasing ceremony after his release from the prison.

My personal view about the whole drama is that, we should countinue to slaughter animals as religious and our cultural to practice. Bra Tony was 100% right to slaughter the bull for him cleasing ceremony, it was cultural to practise it.

He was thankful of his ancesors for looking after him while he was in prison and jail is unluck place to be kept inamatshwa. Those community or people who objected the cleasing or the practise of the slaughtering are uneducated about black cultures.

If i were to buy a house in Tokia or Camps Bay i will need to oepn my house officially by slaughering sheeps, goat and cow to inform the ancestors that i resident in certain area so that they can protect me and my family from the evil spirit.

Lets protect our cultural from white liberals

We are what we do

If you go about doing things daily, in a certain way and of a certain nature, then that thing which you do ultimately leads to who you are and who you will become.

For example: If you grow up as a skolie chances are that you will die as the skolie, unless somewhere somehow you change your behaviour.

We are what we do in certain ways, people take certain paths of life for example church, politians, sport personality, musician etc. It depends on the choices you make with your life, what you will become in a long run.

Simalar quote from the bublic if you leave by the sword you die by the sword. If you kill people by gun you will also die with gun one day. Or if you murdered people by knife you will die by the knife. However if you  potratry yourself in certain way you are expected you behaviour in that manner or to maintain it.

If you are a priest of certain church  elder people, kids and community leaders will look up to you as their role model to up life the community or empower them  for better life not other way around. You will not anticipate the priest to be drunk or date a young person.

Why people gate crash?

On the 21 of March 2011 we were celebrating the birthday of son and he was only turning two years old. We had a guest of about 20 kids and 15 adults which were mine friends and my girlfriend friends. We bought party packs and hired jumping castle for the kids so that they can enjoy themselves.

However we ended up having uncontrolable numbers kids and adults, we run out of food and drinks we ordered for invited guests. It was difficult to ask them to leave as we could not accomodate all of them , it was becaming over crowded and the space was not adequate for everyone. What made it worse gate crashes demanded food and alcohol.

The situation was very complex as it was not easy to ask them to leave. There was two things come to my mined. (It was culture and i did not want spoil the party of my son to ask people to leave)  In our communities people invite themselves unlike other cultures and other communities whereby they wait for invite. We decided to start with people were officially invited than unvited guest will be the last to be served. In a nutshell it was parked and we had a great time until late.

The so called party animals did not want to leave as it was monday afternoon and we were wanted to rest for work. I over head some people saying, we will party until the morning, we will just put sick leave ngomso. They forget it was monday and it was a two year old baby boy not 40 or 60 year old person. So my questions to you guys, how do you avoid such situation in future?

We are afraid of the wrong things

Indeed we are afraid of the wrong things. There is a lots of things to be afraid of these days, death, poverty Tsunami, robbery loosing some you love and earthquake etc. I'm also afraid of certain things as well, as mentioned above.

But i think we as humans tend to also be afraid of things that we can control of such money and loosing your job. We also afraid of what people are going to say and that they will judge us, but the fact of the matter they barley even notice what we wear and that is the fact.

We are afraid to die. because we know that the life, we are living is not what GOD approves of. If we lived the right way we should not be afraid to die when death arrived. We also afraid of failure that we acually end up crippling ourselves by putting negative thoughts in our head, a mere self fulfilling prosphesy.

So the lesson in all of this is stop being afraid of the wrong things and live a real life with legitimate fears like the dark and small space.

Parole man playing golf

Schabir Shaik was re-arrested yesterday and D.A was over the moon

Two years ago Shaik was convicted and sentenced to 15 years in prison, but within two years of his sentenced he was released from prison with much controversy under his name. Yes morning he was back behind bar for all the wrongs.

Shaik was allegedly have assaulted a journalist two weeks ago who was tipped that he was out play golf with friends. The Sunday tribute journalist Amanda Khoza was attacked by Schabir Shaik for following him during playing golf. As if  that was not enough he also assaulted a fellow worshipper after two weeks he assaulted the journalist.

I think Mr Shaik has abused his medical parole as he claimed to sick while he was in prison. The fact that he is a former advance of president Jacob Zuma has taken up to him to became arroant to the public and the journalist. If he is innocent, why would he be so angry and arrogant to the media, it raises more questions than answers. Lets the journalist do thier job without any intimidation from the politians.

We all know that he is a close friend or ally of the president and so he think he can do what ever he wish to do. And his medical parole is still questionable to South African society and he is proving people right that he was never sick and should have remained there up until his day come, but because his is a comrade and is close to the South African president.

My wish from the department of corectional service can do South Africans a favour keep him there and finsih his remaining sentence.

Fish falling from the sky

It was early morning hours of the a day in december 1990 a fish fall from clear sky. They fell in such a numbers that contemporary accounts. The fish were all dead and fell in heaps throughout the city and advanced as to the source of the fish was that they had been driven inland by a recent storm along the and had been killed by a sudden change in temperature.

After the rain showers ended, the fish were around in the pool of water that had accumulated between the rows of cotton of a farm owned. The fall of the fish continued throughout most of the month, attracting a  large amount of publicity or media coverage and number of curiosity. I looked up in the cloudless sky and suddenly saw a fish falling straight down ,as if becoming visible when it cme near enough. This fish struck the earth with bounced off on the track beside the warehouse and i could not find it. T

he fish fell again 2000 the year of millennium and this time over the town. The weather at the time was calm and it was not raining, although it was somewhat foggy. The fish came raining down without warning and included largemouth bas, sunfish, shad and minnows.  Some of them were frozen and others merely cold but all were fit for human consumpition.

I love animals

I love animals except snake, crocodile and mouse i'm very afraid of them. But i love dogs very much as if there no tomorrow even my family aware about my soft sport for dogs. According to my dad, i grew up playing soccer balls with dogs, feed and take them for a walk.

I remember when i was a 10 year old boy seeing a cute puppy dog being sold by the coloured man for R10 rand i than ask my dad to buy it for me and mom refused and her argument was that if he (my dad) bought the dog i would not listen and do my home works.

I want to state it categorically that i love them simple because they are security of the house day and night. When there is a danger around the house they will defiantly going to alert you by bucking until you woken up. They are also our ancestors (IZINYANYA ZETHU)  so i really respect them. If i'm driving and see the dog cross over the road, i slow down until it cross over completly it.

I love male dogs! i personally have one, he is a lot more fun than female dogs-female are more calm and males are more loving and playful! This just my opinion! But for people who have a lot of time to spend playing and doing stuff with their dogs, male dogs are more fun loving and friendly. However both genders can be fun loving an friendly depending on their breed, age and how they grew up.

What is the colour of the wind

I'm not sure if the wind has a colour. I have asked my colleagues, friends and classmates none of them could tell me the colour of the wind. For the above reason, i have mentioned and survey from various people who also concurred with me about the colourless of the wind.

I have come to the conclusion that there is no right or wrong answer regarding the topic. I compared the wind with love as they both do not have colours and they are both not tangible. You can only feel the wind blowing by nature that was created by GOD.

I think it is a very fascinating topic as you can play around with lots of ideas. You can think of any existing things that you can associate with it. Take for example the rain also does not have colour, but you can feel it, when it rains. It supports my statement above that you can think of many things in relation to the colour of wind.

See you in class.

racism in the cape is brewing

I'm compelled to write about the so called insensetive issue in our beloved provinces. We have been reading about racism for the past week in the local newspapers and also escalated to other province.

The comments of the Mr Jimmy Manyi president of BMF and the GCIS goverment spokesperson about his racists remarks about coloured community. Being a senior official and ANC member he should have known better such comments were going to course up roar within the province.

Yes Mr Manyi has apologise to the colour community or the Western Cape people unreservely. With an two day he apologise, the Sunday world columnist Ms Khuli Roberts wrote attacking article to coloured people as if it was not adequate what Mr Jimmy said on the prevous week. Ms Roberts also apologise about her racists remarks and headline Ma se Kinders on monday night.  It seems people are writting thier blunt comments knowing that late on they apologise to the nation. We are heading for local government elections in two month time so it very important that we cool our heads.

Happy reading.

If I were boss

If I were boss
My current manager or supervisor is fairly new in government fresh from private sector and he does not understand the policies and the bureaucracy and red-tape of government, how it works he has absolutely clueless. If I had a liberty to mention his former employees, I would gladly mention it. I prefer not too for the sake legalities.
The problem about him is not prepared to listen and learn to the subordinate, which is biggest mistake and I think he is plotting his own down fall or grave.  However if things are not going well in his presence, he easy gets angry to his /her staff is leading. He does not provide any solution instead he creates more problems in full view of other stakeholders.  I made it a point a do not argue with a big man or back chat. All did was to ensure is happy by providing the solution on the spot. It was difficult to approach him with your personal problem any given time.
If I were boss
I would ensure that I respect and listen my subordinate for the sake of progress and good relationship among the staff. They you earn respect you don’t demand it. By the virtue of being an employee of any organisation automatically you became an adult, so you have no right to blunt as if you are dealing with primary schools kinds.
If I were boss
I was going to create a hype for staff members by organising team building once a month especial on Fridays to create the unity and sense of belonging. Let the staff feel free to engage with you in number of issue relating to the work and personal issue. Remember you spend more hours at work than at home, so it is important that you have open door policy for every staff members. But more importantly the work is come first and the bucks stop with you.
Good topic.
