The Animal rights activists objected to the slaughter on the grounds that the practice constituted the cruelty to animals. It emanated from former chief whip of the ANC Tony Yengeni's slaughtering for ritual cleasing ceremony after his release from the prison.
My personal view about the whole drama is that, we should countinue to slaughter animals as religious and our cultural to practice. Bra Tony was 100% right to slaughter the bull for him cleasing ceremony, it was cultural to practise it.
He was thankful of his ancesors for looking after him while he was in prison and jail is unluck place to be kept inamatshwa. Those community or people who objected the cleasing or the practise of the slaughtering are uneducated about black cultures.
If i were to buy a house in Tokia or Camps Bay i will need to oepn my house officially by slaughering sheeps,goat and cow to inform the ancestors that i resident in certain area so that they can protect me and my family from the evil spirit.
Lets protect our cultural from white liberals
