Do we still remember disaster Ellis Park Stadium?

It was exactly ten years ago 11 April 2001, when 43 football soccer fratenity were plunged into its darkest period ever in South African football history. When the stamped or disaster occured at Ellis Park i was only 13 years old. I think as South Africans we turn to forget very soon. When soccer derby is about to play after the disaster occured the moment of silent would be dedicated to whose who passed away.

The flags will be flowed all over the stadium to remember them. The flags used to be written "every game we play we play for you" but you hardly see those flags from both team Pirates and Kaizer Chiefs. Have we forgotten about them completely? I solely blame the so called soccer boss that we soccer lovers we forgotten about those adent supporters who die for them.

They should respect the families and soccer fans by holding commerative events in various soccer stadium or transport for soccer loves to remember as true fans. They should use the media such kick off magazine, soccer laduma, their own website, soccer players especially whose were involved on the day.

I'm taken aback because the PSL and both team should have done somethin to remember the tradegy. They are gone forever, but they are in our hearts. May they soul rest in peace and we still love them.
