racism in the cape is brewing

I'm compelled to write about the so called insensetive issue in our beloved provinces. We have been reading about racism for the past week in the local newspapers and also escalated to other province.

The comments of the Mr Jimmy Manyi president of BMF and the GCIS goverment spokesperson about his racists remarks about coloured community. Being a senior official and ANC member he should have known better such comments were going to course up roar within the province.

Yes Mr Manyi has apologise to the colour community or the Western Cape people unreservely. With an two day he apologise, the Sunday world columnist Ms Khuli Roberts wrote attacking article to coloured people as if it was not adequate what Mr Jimmy said on the prevous week. Ms Roberts also apologise about her racists remarks and headline Ma se Kinders on monday night.  It seems people are writting thier blunt comments knowing that late on they apologise to the nation. We are heading for local government elections in two month time so it very important that we cool our heads.

Happy reading.

  2. What a great article. Racism is a very sensitive issue even kids know that, let alone our so called 'representatives'. You have made some valid points here, i like it.
